help! time sensitive

ok, so my tranny was acting up and brought it to the stealership, i suspected tranny damage, but they said it was just the clutch.

i bought a stage 1 exedy clutch kit and lightweight flywheel and the mechanic working on my car says my output shaft is F***ED. what should i do here? continue install and bring it back to them saying it was like that with stock parts? put stock stuff back on?

since dealer told me it was the clutch, should this automatically mean to them that i didn't do anything to screw anything else up with the other parts?

thanks for any response

I would put it back to stock and take it to the dealer.
If the clutch or output shaft is bad, let the dealer take care of that under warranty.
You start messing with the tranny, they can use that against you and say that the warranty is void for the tranny.
Get is looked at and fixed if needed, THEN upgrade if you want.

the clutch isn't under warranty, hence why i decided to just upgrade instead, but didn't know there was actually a tranny problem. technically, it's a very similar product, stock is an exedy clutch, think they'd give me a lot of problems?

NO, you can actually have them install it at the dealership if they are doing warranty work. I have done it here several times, never once used OEM clutch.
