Greddy Turbo Timer Help!
Greddy Turbo Timer Help!
ok, so me and my friend were going to add a Greddy turbo timer to his RX-8
but, we don't know which wires go where
the ground is obvious, but we don't know which wires are what
in the diagram, there's the 12v connection, the ACC and the ON switch
we have no idea which wire is which and the two connectors and as some of u know there are stripped wires
so, we need the 12V connection, the ACC and the ON switch
then theres something about one wire going to the spedometer or something

If that's the steering column on the left then you're looking at the wrong set of connectors for starters. As with most things did you search the forums first?

Yeah They do offer a wire harness but we wanted to do it this way to conserve time for waiting for the harness and saving money this way. I hope that someone would give me some tips

dude...you would've saved more time by just buying the harness. you're wasting time tryin' to figure out which wire does what. now you just have a messed up stock harness.
take my advice...put everything back together and buy yourself a harness for the turbo timer. i've installed plenty of turbo timers and everytime i do it, i tell them to get the harness. saves you a lot of headaches. and who know's the wire splicing you have done might not hold up too well.

I installed mine last weekend and it works flawlessly. If you follow the DIY on PURNRG's site, it is a breeze. The only tricky part is reaching the wires to install the bypass. Seriously though, just search around. The truth is out there.
