Alright, well, I am a full time college student so I switched cars for a few days with my father so he could take it in to get the recalls taken care of. (He works right near the mazda dealership. I told him to ask them if I was up to date on flashes. When my dad and I traded cards back, he told me the dealership said they gave my car the latest flash which was "B 39.4" I don't know too much about the car being as I am new to the sports car world. Is this flash equivalent to the "L, M, or N" flashes that I have read about here? Thanks!
(I've got a 2004 6spd, if that makes a difference)

 

Current level is B39_6 but 39.4 is OK. The latest RX 8 flash came out on 38.3.

You are up to date with the latest flash.

 

If they did the recall, you are on the "ARE" flash.. Or was it the "R" flash...Maybe it was the "OUR" flash... It has to be one of those 3. Hope that helps.

 

He is on "R". That is the only current flash for a 2004 6spd car.

2005 RX 8's have "E" for the 6spd, and "F" for the auto.

 

I don't know what the R flash changed exactly, but my tuning is all honked up now. I have to redo a whole mess of map. Meh... I hate mazda sometimes.
