I need a new fuel pump for my car and i dont wanna get the whole sending unit could i just use the walbro 255 fuel pump instead and will it afect my car if it is stock?

 

God...please search...there are sooooooo many fuel pump threads...

Basically it will work without to much problem

Look out for cheap knock offs though

 

Any pump shaped like a Walbro 342 will fit well.

Same pump as an RX-7 if they don't list the '8.

Cuz the s1 aarm fuel pump fuxking sucks? it's known to fail.

if u know what you're doing, u can re-use the existing Fuel Pump assembly, just remove the pump out, snap the right size pump in, and Melt the top of the bypass valve. reinstall. done.

I need to find time to do mine, my 2nd stock fuel pump is slowly dying, I get lean condition now whenever I have less than 1/2 tank of gas. FAILED if I don't have time to do the melting and stuff, just gonna get it from BHR. I like to support good guys. see what happens later this summer.
