Hmm, not sure, do you happen to know the denso part number for it just to compare?

Greens are 297500-1220
Browns are 297500-1230

Wow. Neither of those are even close to the color of the injectors I had.

I'm willing to take Dark Red. It's kind of a red-brown color.

Jeff, that injector looks like the same style denso injector as our series I. Or are you just throwing up the pic for color reference?

No. That is the actual N3R2-13-250 I had last year (or beginning of this year, I can't recall exactly at the moment), straight from MazdaSpeed MotorSports Development.
The flow test put it at almost 600cc @ 4 BAR.

Interesting. My injectors seem to be the ones ASH8 has as well. Though I purchased mine used, it came together attached to their respective fuel rails, so I believe they are the series II injectors. But the part number I cannot speak for.

The injector cleaned and flow tested by KGParts came in at 552cc @ 2.25 Bar.

I have two sets (8) of Series 2 Injectors of above Mazda Part Numbers (N3R1 and N3R2) from Mazda in Mazda Parts Boxes purchased from and on two separate locations (Australia and USA) 12 months apart and they are Dark Red and Green..no other colours and no other Mazda Part Numbers in NA, Australia or Europe or Japan or anywhere for Series II .

Question for clarification guys. I have confused myself reading the posts (big surprise )

On hand, I have 8 yellows, four reds, and two brand new blues. I am running an upgraded Greddy with a 54 trim, TD06H Turbine Shaft, and Upgraded 44lb/min Compressor Wheel.

Would it be best to run two yellows in the P1, blues in the P2, and a yellow in the front and rear secondary?

Four blues in the P2 and front and rear secondary locations and reds in the P1 location?

Or, just replace the P2's with the blues and leave the rest as is?

These are the five combinations I recommend, in order from best to lest best:

P1 - Green; P2/S - Brown
P1 - Green; P2/S - Blue
P1 - Red; P2/S - Blue
P1 - Green; P2/S - Yellow
P1 - Red; P2/S - Yellow (stock configuration)

When you say yellow do you mean modified yellow?

Im putting my motor in today and going P1 - Green; P2/S - Yellow(modified) which should flow more then blues, or Atleast the same, right?

Speaking of which, if there is any chance I can get a new base or modified tune before Tuesday, I would be super happy. I sent something to your gmail account.

Modified are a "wild card", but tht is a viable suggestion, as long as you know what the actual flow of those injectors are at operating fuel pressure (which must include the range of manifold pressures in the calculation).

I am on the road this weekend, but I will try to get a new "base" for you on Sunday night or Monday morning.

The 3 sets I have had modified by kg have all been about the same flow, its what I have and too late to change my mind, so I'm stuck with it.

Awesome, thanks. I got called to testify before a grand jury on Tuesday morning plus I work Monday and Tuesday night, so i have no idea how I'm going to juggle tuning, testifying, sleep and work. Something's going to give and i think its sleep.

Hmmm, so since I have two brand new blues and plenty of yellows and reds I should just get two more blues I think and run red P1's, and blues in the p2 and secondary locations. Or maybe spend the $200.00 get two new greens and two more new blues.

Then search by vehicle and put in 2009 RX-8 and the greens and browns will come up.

I have a set of the blues already, they are re manufactured OEM, they look good. I am having them tested by fuel injection specialties here in San Antonio just to makes sure they flow what they are supposed too. Hoss-05 found these.

Sure - if you like spending money just for the sake of it . You already have enough injectors of the right size to do a perfectly acceptable job .

Yeah I am thinking maybe I'll work with what I have for now and see what happens during tuning.

Negatory, shows the red, yellow, and blues in the 2009 spec as well (which is typically what i've seen from sites like these). ReManufactured of course makes me weary. Have you or Hoss gotten them tested and ran them yet?

Greens are last ones listed

http://www.usautoparts.net/catalog/?...667+11921+9294

They are actually all getting tested Wednesday. The new ones and the used ones.

On the right is the remanufactured Denso that comes out to about $30.00 after core or $53.00 with no core. On the left are the used Denso yellows.

those aren't actually the Series II greens. they are the Series I blues (listed for AT). same pics and whatnot as used in the 04 you linked. the series II injectors look completely different than series I injectors. Check post #129 for a visual.

On another note, the color of your blues actually looks blue blue. Unlike mine (and what is advertised in the website). Same denso part number on the injector, but different shade of color.
