exhaust gasket?

Does anyone know if napa or autozone, etc. will have the exhaust gasket that goes between the catalytic converter and exhaust manifold? I've got a leak after installing my midpipe and need to replace it but don't want to wait a week to receive it in the mail.

anyone know? better yet, anyone have a part number or dimensions?

ID 2.75"

Use Permatex Copper Gasket Sealer around the metal ring. I have had my exhaust off and on the car dozens of times and that exhaust gasket sealer works every time. I am still using the original metal o-ring.

^^ Charles.....you will find that it burns off I tried that. It was OK for the street...but it fried at the track.

The gasket is about $8...hardly worth the cost of the sealant....

I'll vouch for his bad

it's a crush gasket, ideally it should be replaced every time the flange comes apart

The Permatex Copper will not burn off. Its good out to 2200°F.
Amazing stuff.
It wont, however, stop a serious leak. Its just an "enhancer" for a good metal gasket.
You can take the OEM gasket and force a wide-blade screwdriver into the groove to open it back up. I've been using the same gasket for 4 years and dozens of disconnects with no leaks whatsoever.

$12 gasket.
So, you burned off the Permatex Ultra Copper? I just don't see how.
I've been using the stuff on the manifold to engine interface and the downpipe to mid-pipe interface for years and it has never as much as changed color, let alone burned off!
What are your EGTs? 3000°F ?!?
