Dynoed today before the engine gets yanked

05 RX8: 28,22x miles. Shell 91, RP, Green Filter, Disconnected VFAD, Mod Airbox
Dynojet: 75.39dgF, 29.36 in-Hg, Humidity 27%, STD 1.03

pretty sure that if he has modded the air box. he knew to plug the hole for the vdaf hose.

Here is a crappy view of the graph. Again I will try to get a scanned version if I can.

My engine failed during the recall test drive. The engine had 14,7xx miles when I got it so I do not know how the previous owner drove it. She feels strong and good except for idle issues. She felt really good after leaving the dyno, silky smooth. I also have an oil sample that I will be sending in to have analysed.

I just wanted to see where everything was at before they replaced it.

Is capping off the vfad hose really necesarry? I keep reading about that, but I haven't capped it off...

I will dyno with the new engine in April, so I should have 13-14k miles on it.

what will hapen if you dont .

Cuz I have K&N Typhoon Version 2, they didnt say anything about that tube. I feel it when engine is on, it still sucking air into it ... I always wonder should I unplug the wires and close the tube.

Car seems ok ... no CEL, No stored codes.
