Coolant Boiling Question
#127
The increased pressure of a radiator cap will increase the boiling point. Learned that too.
The fact that you owned cheap parts on your cheap rustang is irrelevant.

Having owned a mustang once before, I Can't say that there is even a slight envy of your car, even if it had 5,000 hp and drives fast enough to turn back time.

He may not even be around when I get to it.
I was originally planning on getting to the car Monday, but it looks like Sunday is better for me and Phil will be in Havasu.
Either way, I'll keep a scrap of paper around...

Nice one. Let me guess - for the H3, you need to be a pretentious ******* (who can't afford the extra $20k for the H2) to drive one.

I'm not pretentious, I'm just an ******* okay?
I wasn't even talking to you, I was talking to John (DeViLbOi).
And I bet you had a V6 Mustang!
Here, let me put this in terms you can understand, because you can program in Scarcely Qualifies as a Language:
Select * from Thread where mysql101_proves_valid_point = TRUE;
....
0 rows returned.

If you guys spent half as much time learning the physics and taking the measurements as you do trying to dick-slap each other you might learn something other than condom sizes.
The answers have already been established. No go out, spend a few bucks and pour some liquids.

Secondly, it's been said in this thread that glycol helps cooling, when in fact it hinders when compared to water.
So you're trading off increased cooling capacity (which would be useful anytime you drive your car) for a few moments more time before your coolant boils over when your radiator fans fail (which would happen.... uh... rarely). If you want peace of mind, get yourself some good gauges so you can actually see what's going on in your car before things get to the point where coolant boils. You can also get a higher pressure radiator cap, to increase the boiling point to the same levels as the 50/50 mix.

Another faux pas on your part. I currently develop systems that manage thousands of developers inside of Verizon and MCI (Now VZB). So Mysql, postgres, oracle, etc. You name it, I use it. You can bash me for using PHP too if you'd like, but only if you neglect to see the part where I also write device drivers, using C. I also used to write graphics engines in assembly (Back when I wanted to be a big video game developer).
You'll have to do better than that.

They like to remap OC48 cross-connects without telling anybody. Enjoy turning down circuits for the wrong customer. Like to provide IP Address ranges for OC-128 connections that are already in use. Luckily we have a very nice verizon account rep who sits here with us all day and likes to yell at her coworkers. :P

Oh. Right, now It's my turn to quote you, to yourself: "A forum is designed as a place to discuss issues, so while you don't have to answer, he and I, and anyone else, can question you and your opinion however much we want."

If you have a problem with me PM me because really, what your talking about now is totally off topic. Let MM do his testing.

I'm glad you didn't knock my syntax then, and I'm not bashing your programming languages (...that sounds weird..), I was trying to portray to you that you've yet to prove anything other than what Redline told you was true. Comeon, your in IT, think outside the box! And now that I know your personal life, I'm still waiting for proof of all of your aforementioned posts........and make sure nobody runs a bad query against your SQL databases

So if antifreeze increases viscosity, which leads to the pump moving water slower, which leads to a higher inlet outlet temperature change; Does this not make the waterwetter info even more viable? What is waterwetter's effect on viscosity?
I did enjoy the comment on flow vs. pressure that does seem to get many people, hard concept I guess.

There will be a tablet & pens on the seat with the lap top - If I knew exactly when Jeff would be there I'd get dancing girls there also. I take it you got my PM?

Hay PoopSmith, good to hear from you. You coming with Jeff to tune my 8? or just for the dancing girls? If your in luck Jeff may have some of his avatar girls with him. Quit being a "stick in the mud" and get with the locals for the SSX caravan. Talk to the brothers Kitchen and tell them your going to LA for a seminar and will pass out literature for them - maybe they will subsidize your trip.
