You're in luck! I happened to export this thread to PDF back in the day (check out that classic forum header!). Sorry for the separate files, the forum PDF size limit is a paltry 5mb. For the full PDF you can download from my site but it contains the same exact pages as attached here.

Couldn't find a more specific thread to bump and don't have permission to start own thread, so hoping somebody here can help with this. Looking for guidance on how to properly install a replacement heater core pipe (N3H1-10-C71, the one that comes out of the rear iron). Old one got bent when removing from old housing, so I'm now trying to fit a new pipe in a new housing. It is a really tight fit (which makes sense I suppose as there's nothing else to hold it in place) - not sure if I should just be gently tapping it in with a mallet while doing my best to hold it straight (with it being angled the way it is, tapping it wants to force it to not be straight of course), or if I'm supposed to add anything to it to lube it for install and/or to hold it in place once it's there, and/or if there's some SST that is supposed to be used to keep it straight (seems like something similar to an O2 sensor wrench could be helpful)? Feels like a dumb question but I'm a software engineer by day, amateur rotary rebuilder by night, and farthest thing from a qualified pipefitter 24-7 :D

When I had the website rebuilt and hosted on a new platform, the old pics/directory went away and all the forum writeups with pic links went down.

I still have all the pics in folders backed up on my computer. If some mod etc. wants to take the time to upload all my pics to the forum somewhere then go back and edit all the posts and re-link the pics in order I will gladly supply the pics for you to do so. It's not something I have the time to do at this point.

they’re all linked in a set of pdf files several posts up so you don’t really need to.
