Changing fluids =easy/fun
I checked them out, pretty good prices. I went with www.summitracing.com
I changed the Diff and Tranny fluids 2 days ago with Redline. Tranny feels smoother in shifting. There wasn't much to it. The biggest problem is finding the proper place to jack the car up (with a floor jack) and where to place the Jack stands. That took the most time. I too had a lot of gunk on the mag plugs when I pulled them and small metal shavings in the oil (looks like glitter). Glad I changed it at 3K miles.
I think it will be fine now for quite a while.

Red Line 75W90 or 75W90 NS?
I've followed the threads and plan to use Red Line MT90 in the Tranny and 75W90 in the Diff. Is there any advantage to using 75W90 NS which doesn't have the modifiers for limited slip units since our LSD doesn't need them?

do we have to use mazda's crush washers, or can we go to a local hardware store and pick up something similar to the size? Also does anyone have the size of the washers? I know i can get any size washer from this one hardware place, just need the size of the washers. thanks
