borla smoking on new install
Thought I would check.

I assume the white smoke coming out of the pipes is the protective oil / covering burning off?

Mine did the same thing and it smelled pretty bad too. After a couple of days this stops and you can really begin to enjoy your new exhaust. :D

If the smoke is coming from under the pipes with the connector to the mid pipe.. your sealent was not done well.

if it's just coming out from the exhaust..your just burning the initial muffler packing on your exhaust... very normal.. it'll have that funky smell for a few days

Mine did the same, however I burnt mine off in one day doing lengthy 130 MPH runs on Autobahn 5 :D
