How does one go about removing and replacing the belts on the 8? There is no tensioner to speak of, so whats the deal?

 

I think you find actual tensioners on cars with serpentine belts.

The main drive belt is adjusted by moving the alternator. The slotted bracket and adjustment bolt are pretty generic, and easy to spot. The AC belt is tightened by adjusting the idle pulley just under the top middle of the belt.
