Ouch not sure how much would survive in the engine bay with a crunch like that.

That particular car would be perfect to use as a front-halved, tube-chassied, V-8 project.

Why pay $3300 for a car that you'd have to take apart and displose of just to get te engine when you can buy a rebuilt one from Mazmart for $2000?

Because you get SO MUCH other cool stuff like a UIM that would cost $2,200 to replace, not to mention interior parts, transmission, and everything else.

I guess if you've got a need for all that junk and room for a trashed out car on your lawn for a while until you strip it and discard the rest, then that's worth it. All I want is a motor. I don't need the rest of that crap. For me, it's a pretty crappy deal. For others it could be a bargain.

Where's that guy from Sweden who was all set to pay $8000 for a wreck, and had access to discounted parts and free labor?
