is my engine blown?

Whats up guys, well i changed my coils and wires about a week ago and accidently put the wires on backward, i put the wire from the trailing to the leading. It started up weird at the time it took a bit longer than usual but it started. Two days ago I was going about 50 and decided to run it hard for a bit, i punched it and the engine seemed like it was about to die when i gave it gas, i backed off and then it ran fine, when i came to a red light my engine just died, i tryed re starting it and would not start. I had to get towed home and as a result i flooded the engine. I tried de flooding but nothing, when i push start it though it turns on and revs fine until it gets to 6.5k it starts to sputter a bit. When i let it idle it dies out and will not re start. do you guys think i blew my engine? does having the wires on wrong and running it for about a week blow my engine?

shouldnt blow it--but sounds like somthing else is going on. Do a compression check(home kind) to get an idea---or you can try this trick--put automatic transmission fluid in your lead plug holes--about 20cc for each hole. Put the sparkplugs back in and put the wires on (correctly) --try to crank it. if it cranks easily and then dies shortly afterward(wont idle) then that is a bad sign.
Before you do that check the plugs , wires and coils to make sure they are all ok. If they are then do the pedal dance to clear your ecu. then try to start it.

I ran my plug wires like yours accidentally for a good 5k miles and nothing happened.
I changed it back to the way it's supposed to be and it's still running fun, in fact...

... I got the 3rd highest dyno'd NA (the others had mods and I still dynoed higher) over at the SoCal Dyno Day with MM and Ray.

I'd double-check to make sure the wires really are routed correctly now, and also double-check that the connectors are firmly attached.

if the coils are plugged in incorrectly and you go into boost, they will fire at the wrong time and you could definitely blow the seals. Take it to the dealer and get a compression test done.

you usually can't rebuild a renesis without replacing housings and other stuff. cheaper to get a replacement engine.
