Italian tune-up... I just used a drill bit! Removing the fake front plastic grilles also helped, i put some mesh there. The mods were done at different times so the t-stat result should be pretty accurate.

Olddragger was a really big fan of that also...maybe we'll give that a shot after all.

If all of this does not yield the results you were seeking, I have always had a 100% guarantee on BHR's products, on a case-by-case basis (otherwise douchebags would use our products as diagnostic tools rather than sincere purchases), and I would have had no problem considering that course of action in your case since you are not among the aforementioned.
I do have to say that this offer is very good customer service. A lot of companies would not make a similar offer given the length of time that elapsed between the purchase and the first track test.

Guys why are you Shittying on my thread is this the norm here in RX8 club???

I understand that several of you guys sell stuff here and there but everytime I read a post in this forum is a **** debate to be able to sell sell sell and a pissing contest on who knows more about tuning, thermodynamics and so on...can you please take this private. Thanks!

can any of you direct me to a some nice pictures of an rx-8 race/daily car with a decent cooling system that works.

attached is a picture of a severly overheated engine, this one you have never seen. Notice the blue spots, the clutch started to burn up...

please tell me if you like it...

have you ever seen a molten thingy in the oil pan like this? looks exactly like I leave my cooking utensils when my wife asks me to cook... all nice and scorched.

Yeah, I need to try to get you some pictures of my setup. Not sure how well the pics are going to turn out (hard to get pictures of stuff on the top of the undertray, plus the brackets, etc are painted black to intentionally make them hard to see), but I will try my best.
