Ok in my 04 AT 4 port my redlines are this

1st i can actualy shift at 45 mph (just cant downshift from 2nd to first untill 25 or so)

2nd i dont have to shift untill 85 mph.

then in 3rd i didnt want to kill it so i shifted at about 120

and 4th will probably go to top speed (but will probably take forever and a day to get there)

Computer from what I understand limits the car to 125 mph. Haven''t been there so I can't say for sure. Wheather the AP will be able to change that (top speed) I havent heard anything yet.

I never had that "limit" and have been significantly higher. I believe that it's the ecu that controls that and the AP should remove it like it removes shift points.

Just something I heard once. I've never driven that fast so I don't know for sure. That was my understanding that the ECU did the dirty work.

I plan on doing the Cobb, and the Mazsport ignition upgrade. Does it matter which one I buy and instal first? Would it be recommended that I instal the ignition, and then get the Cobb to tie everything together?

I think you would get the best results by doing them at the same time.

So I am curious if the Cobb removes the limiter on the car? I have maxed mine out once at 122MPH. I dont go that fast very often, and only pushed it over 100 a couple of times.

You can move the rev limiter.
I am unaware of any speed limiter in the PCM programming.

I have had others say that they are limited in an at to 125 mph. This is something I never encountered.

I'm limited to 125 and i've heard the same from several AT owners. I don't know where the limiter is coming from though.

Is called "horsepower".

With barely 130 or so at the wheels, you have a rather impressive wall of air to push around at 125 MPH.

I told you where mine becomes airborne - you were going to look into some aero stuff to correct it. Don't bother now, your way to busy - hope to see ya soon.

Yeah, mine must want to fly.
Around 135 or so the steering gets really light and twitchy.

Around 100-105 mine starts to suck down to the road. I wonder if the MazdaSpeed kit causes to much lift on the front end.

the MS front end has only downward angles on it, so I can't see why it would cause lift.
