i'll give you a vague idea. It really depends on how rich your motor is running before the AP maps are applied. It could be 1 hp or it could be 25 hp.

this is too much -

Ninja - go buy it and find out - you know the AP can help you get some horsepower, or has that little gem eluded your "extensive" research. You already know it can probably give you more horsepower than a fart can exhaust or some vornado intake. So why not invest in something you know will benefit you more in the long run plus be more 'bang for the buck'.

Your question gives me the distinct feeling you don't even know what to do with it if you even purchased it so why bother asking what to expect when you probably won't know how to use it...

but for the sake of argument, let's say you do know what to do with it and you know how to read AFR's and datalog all your readings and tell if you're running too lean or too rich...and you do manage to get it to release some ponies...If i gave you a ball park figure to look for, what happens if you don't get it? I bet you'll be upset....and i can probably guess why....you'll probably feel cheated because you paid X amount of dollars for a product that you expected more from when in reality your car probably benefited in other IMPORTANT areas rather than WHP.

My point: YOUR QUESTION IS STUPID
Reason: you're looking for a ball park figure when in reality you're only gonna find just that....a ball park. Catch my drift? or should I make a pop-up book for you to understand?

I remember saying I am interested in this to improve my idle. Will that not benefit me in the long run? Did I ever say I was looking to increase horsepower? I think you need to go back and read.

I do not know nor did I claim to know how to tune my vehicle myself. Isn't that what MM's calibration service is for? I also did not ask about what I expect to see.

Once again, did I say I was looking for HP for my car? NO. I was only asking what others have observed.

That statement is stupid. I am NOT looking for a ballpark figure. If you read my last post, I asked about SPECIFIC figures from individuals under THEIR application because I am curious about what THEY saw purely for observational reasons. There is no underlying motive. I'm NOT trying to guesstimate HP numbers for my car.

Good point Atilla! Cobb its not nitrous, it wont give you a huge WHP. Its more like an overall item which i think is the most important tune up out of everything. better cooling, better fuel econ, better TQ and HP(not a lot). shows data and error code and bunch other good stuff that you have to research about i am just too lazy to type everything. if you have an AT get it from Jeff-MM.
If you are looking for just WHP, then just get nitrous,
OR!
Buy Ebay Chip from Phil, Phil sell Ebay Chip that will give 1000+WHP.
Just kidding Phil, dont get mad at me. hehe
Idling will improve, if you want to wait I am getting Cobb from MM soon. once i get it, i don't mind go for a dyno and show you guys the # b4 cobb and after cobb.

I have a 4 port AT that Dyno'ed at 132 WHP. I got the Cobb Accessport and an AEM CAI and BHR Coil set. And my last dyno was 172 WHP.

I forgot to mention the Nitrous.

Yeah actually the last time without the Nitrous it was 142 WHP.
I have another dyno day coming next week. And a bit more adjustment on the Nitrous and Cobb.

Simply put the COBB gives you full control over your cars tune and operating parameters

I don't know if it's the AP, the rebuilder or the tuner that is the cause of my good fortune of a fine running 8.

I remember saying I am interested in this to improve my idle. Will that not benefit me in the long run? Did I ever say I was looking to increase horsepower? I think you need to go back and read.

last time i checked...people don't put their car on the dyno to ONLY check their idle - if they did, i'm sure the tuner would want to kick your *** off and tell you to test it on the street - not the dyno.

quoted from you for reference:

Ninja said:
Thanks. Like I said, I read this thread before I posted. There was talk about putting an NA AT-4 with the AP on the dyno, but unless I completely missed it, I didn't see any result from that.
Ninja also said:
So I guess I'll rephrase my question:
If theres someone who happens to know, I'd appreciate it if you can TELL me what the HP increase is for an NA 4 port because I have not been able to find it? Thanks.

I do not know nor did I claim to know how to tune my vehicle myself. Isn't that what MM's calibration service is for? I also did not ask about what I expect to see.

ROFL - you think MM's gonna walk you through everything?? haha - you have to have some kind of working knowledge of the unit in order to get your calibrations - i've been there at several dyno days w/him and let me tell you....buying it and telling him to make it work isn't gonna get you anywhere.

Once again, did I say I was looking for HP for my car? NO. I was only asking what others have observed.

Regardless of who you're asking for...you're gonna get the same answer as they will. Research is invaluable. Simply being spoon fed knowledge is useless. Kinda like cramming before a big test. You'll only remember it for a minute because it has no substance. Research and discover back up for your theories.

^once again, proving ignorance. Asking for a specific number is even worse. LIKE I SAID, YOU'RE ONLY GONNA FIND BALL PARK
REASON: IT VARIES - GET IT???

Homework = good idea

So the car is running good Phil? We haven't heard from you. I was talking to Jeff last night and told him no news is good news.

This car is running great. Smooth, sounds good, shifts good, great power range.

I figured that I'd just wait to praise Jeff until he got out of Jail. I PMed Ray to tell him that the rebuild and the tune were the combo that worked for this car.

I wish I'd of had a good dyno to relate to as the improvements are (seem) significant.

The locals are setting up a dyno day and I hope to have one then just to see what I really have.

Oh and if you visit Jeff in jail tell him the mileage has never been better. That jail should be getting full with Jeff, Jorge, Mike and a few others in there

Actually he is on a plane to DC as we speak. He will return on Monday. So actually this ban fell on kind of a dead spot anyway.

Let's just put it like this guys, He just did it like he always does and ruffled feathers. He will be back and his usual self as will the others that got slapped down. Atilla may be next if he disagrees with my choice of tequila - look what happened to Jorge
