has anyone swaped out the auto and put a 6speed trans and how much did you spend and where did you get the parts (sorry if this was asked before but I searched and found nothing)
By the way I have a 3ed gen rx7 trans 5speed would that work or bolt on?

 

you might as well just trade it in and pay the extra for the 6 speed.

if its an auto, and you want manual, dont buy it, nothing personal, but it would cost WAY more than just buying the manual 8

I'm guessing you'd be better off selling the rx-7 gearbox on 7club or some other 7 forum and putting that money towards a down payment on a used 6MT 8.
