Not a bad deal if the motor comes fully dressed with turbocharger, coils, starter, alternator, harness, etc.etc.etc.

yeh, but I'm not going to shell out the $$ on a gauanteed start up. don't know the real history of that motor and setup ...For all I know that could have been a test design ran 24/7 on a skid @9000 rpms for the hell of it.

Between 47 and 49k

Translation:

Needs to be rebuilt, turbo is usless, alternator kicks out 11 volts, and the the wiring harness is about as crispy as fried chicken. Probably does start though, hell mine started and even ran with a blown apex seal. Jap motors are generally not a good deal.

Not a bad deal if its still kicking out good numbers.. (Used 13b's scare me though)
1100 is good though, even if it does need to be rebuilt. You couldn't come up with 47k mile housings, irons, rotors, and e shaft for that much. Good deal if you need more than a core.

they're fine most of the time if you find a good supplier.

the only time i actually install j-specs is when customers ask me to--otherwise, they're usually in good rebuildable shape... a lot of the time i'll tear them down, port etc and just swap the o-rings and gaskets out--depending on what the apex seals look like.

the last one i could have just installed, but it got a port job and the manifolds are being ceramic coated. t66 too

seems kind of and iffy deal, especially since there were no bites the first time? Had to be relisted.

i wouldn't buy a motor off of ebay unless it was actually listed as a core...too hard to get your money back if you get ripped.

Not sure if its twin turbo but it is a turbo rotary. Thing is pretty darn fast and sounds great. Check out the video
http://www.mazsport.net/phpnuke/html...=article&sid=2
on second watch of video its looks like single turbo but still pretty cool.
