If its exactly like the turbo install, shouldn't take more than 30 min to do it yourself.

i'm hoping that once we put up a specific date, more people will show up and lower the cost a little bit..., but then again, we may get more tune time with just us four, so either way would be fine i suppose.

any of you know any dyno shop nearby? once that's figured out, i think everything should be set. hopefully we can all meet up in early may or maybe even earlier.
If you can do it during the weekend of May 19-21, I'll be down.

well i was hoping to do it earlier, but it's really not my decision. my vote is for either the next weekend or at the latest the first week of may.

I think it would be a good idea to come up with all of the costs associated with this weekend (Dyno center, Scotts expenses, etc) and tell everyone who is confirmed to make a payment to Scott by a certain date or else they will not be included in this session.

That way we can weed out anyone who is not really serious about this. I would also like to see this payment as non-refundable so we know they are truly in. Situations do come up though, so maybe this can be flexible.. Just throwing it out there.

Also, I dont think we can pick a weekend until we know what dyno shop we are going to and what their schedule is. Plus the fact that we need everyone to post on here what weekend is available for them so we are all in agreement.

The days that would be best for me would be the following:

April 29-30
May 6
May 13-14
May 20-21

I called up one dyno shop and they wanted 500.00 for a half day rental, and 850 for a full days rental.

I have no idea how good of a price this is, but it's an effort..

may 20-21 will be fine for me.

by the way the actual cost will be:
$350 + $dyno rental divided five way

we have five people now right?

so if you include lunch, gas, and stuff... $500 would be a good estimate.

i don't think we have to split scott's airfare & hotel cost. that should be included in the $350 fee.

Hello guys, thanks for your interest in the tuning sessions. The 19-20 or 20-21 dates look good for me! As I am not familar with the area would somone local to the area post contact info for a established shop with a Dynojet,WB02 and a reliable reputation. I am planning on offering the dyno day as well as a street tuning sessions 19-20 or 20-21. This will allow everyone time to achive W.O.T. #'s, iron out any drivability issues and get some one on one instruction with myself and their vehicle. Look foward to your feedback and a sucessful session.Scott

I'll look for more dyno centers and try and get all the info/pricing from each of them. Others within the so cal. area please try and do the same. The one dyno shop that I posted earlier did not really tell me that much about their dyno setup, so i'll call them back up and try and get more info.

For anyone on the east coast who's been on the fence about buying an Interceptor, nows the time to get it. We just need a couple more people to get Scott to come out. You won't get this opportunity again anytime soon.

I dont think a half day on the dyno is enough. Can you contact Scott and ask for his opinion on this. I am sure that I can also contact MD Automotive to get their half day price as well.

With all the tuning/dyno's/installs/testing being done, I thought it would be better to get a full day so we dont feel rushed at all.

Im in for So. Cal. ( not bakersfield.) If the costs keep going up that could become a problem also. A half day on a dyno should be enough. We dont need the dyno to do any installs.
If we spend part of the day with Scott going thru the install and initial setup and maybe some orientation of the software the first half, then the second half can be spent on the dyno that should get'er done. Just my 2 cents. Thanks

gotta agree with Ryan here - just check out our numbers and first-hand experiences. if that's not enough, look at the numbers achieved by our 8 brother in Canada when Scott went up there for the install and tuning - 310 rwhp. 'nuff said.

dd sends...

is anyone else in? looks like this will be the last call before we lock down the group in a couple days.

by the way, either paypal or cc would be the most convinient payment option for me. or i can always bring cash to the dyno shop.

i'm obviously in.

ps. thanks for looking into the dyno shops davefzr.
I am in on the May 20-21 weekend, prefer paypal or cc also.

Here is where Swanson Performance resides in relation to Diamond Bar.

I'll call up MD Automotive and get there half day price. To me, they are the better of the two. I am not at work right now and unfortunately left all the information there, so i'll have to call them on Monday.

They too are in the greater LA area.

Thats not too bad. My car is in the shop now getting the turbo repaired. As long as I can get everything working again, I'm down for the tuning session.
