definetively no no.....
emanage is way too slow.... and
i can set fuel timing and boost level for every 200rpm on unichip
i can set cut of rpm and can control a hole lot of safety parameters ....
example if my turbo starts to pressurise too much it goes to an safety program so my engine is unharmed.... there for i don even have a boost gauge.(every thing is taken cared of... assuming that you had it programed)

turns out i am not a smart guy...
all along i was having random misfire error (p0300) instead of p0330.... i had my error code table all wrong.
it only happens during heavy load and high rpm....
does any body has a good idea of how to end this problem???
how does de car detects this problem???
is there a sensor for it??

You need to gap your plugs down. Greddy suggest going to 0.0030", but I would try more gradual steps. Start with 0.0040" and keep gapping them down till the mis is gone. The more you gap down the less hp you will make, although it shouldn't that much of a difference.

it worked..... thanks a lot!!!
but now it seems that they are on the move... who??? errors.....

for any one interested this is this rx8 against a wrx with 1.8bar to its turbo and a couple more mods... we belive that the wrx should have about 360 horse power.... but we wont know... because it is 4 weel drive and our dyno is only for 2 weel drive cars....
the first couple passes were made with the old setup (255whp) and the last ones with 305whp...
it is a 10meg movie.... but it is fun....
link deleted ... politicaly incorrect acording to polak

ok so i dont know what you all are doing but..
im pushing 301.275 whp from my 04. i took it in and had all the mazda speed performance parts put on for the new rx8 (new being 09 for the '10 modles have a funky output) including mazda speed ecu, traction control lightened fly wheel stage 2 clutch, carbon fiber drive shaft, and performance chip. that was placing me at 256.35 whp from the factory.
then i started adding the good ol name brand performance parts.
added sprint stage 2 lowering springs so the car wasnt fighting its stock suspension lightened doors and quarter pannels dropping the weight to 2020 helping a bit with power to weight.
k&n typhoon intake system, upgraded fuel rail, racing fuel pump, hks exhaust with out cat remapped ecu and im still running off the stock headers and intake manifold.
ive put 6500 into the car for performance and im pushing 301 at the wheels and still get 21 miles to the gal on the high way and about 3 more if i keep my foot out of it... hard to do 90% of the time.
im running off of standard premium fuel with an octain booster ever other tank.
im sure most of you will say this isnt possible but boost has alot of cons to it to get that extra power. such as massive tuning to allow the engine to actually use the power being produced by the turbo.
i might not have the spool up and shoot off that a turbo does but iv got a good portion of the power and ive not even added nos to the mix
awesome job with the turbo kit though. 350 is a great number for a track car
