I'm sorry Team but I just don't understand why you keep repeating the same things over and over when it's not even relevant to the thread. Are you just winding me up or something ?
Let me try and be clear about what this thread is about . : porting a 4 port engine and what gains can be made from that.
And to be ultra clear it's NOT about : trying to make more from a 4 port than a 6 port.

What you don't understand is ...you just can't plonk a 6 port engine into a 4 port chassis without some major expense . You need a new ECU , dash module , abs module , power steering module , air bag module etc ... not to mention an entire engine complete with intakes, injectors, loom etc etc.
So that's why 4 port 5 speed guys here and elsewhere that had them don't do a 6 port conversion. They have to look at ways to improve on the 4 port.

sorry, hadn’t been back since my last post, which I was expecting you to keep on that same track and am tired of wasting my time trying to get through to you on it, so not in any rush to engage again

yeah, you still just don’t get it any more than the fundamental mistakes being made on the other hybrid, semi-pp 4-port, and bp motors they’re doing

you do understand they’re not making the same output on their street & bp mods than what can be accomplished on a stock port engine, right? what people don’t understand is that just because they have a stock port dyno indicating a lower out put that it doesn’t necessarily mean anything at all. it could just as easily mean the stock port motor lacks full optimization. or I’ve seen plenty of instances of people running a used engine on a dyno and then comparing it against an engine with mods, except it was just fully rebuilt and not a valid comparison against a used motor. there are numerous scenarios like this.

it doesn’t matter if it’s a 4 or 6 port, there’s little to gain porting a Renesis and it’s very easy to do more harm than good. Because it can’t be ported the way it needs to where it needs to. The intake system is not the limitation. I’m not saying it can’t ever make a better peak number, but weighed out as a whole, everything I’ve ever seen clearly shows that overall the losses outweigh the gains.

A peaky motor is going to not only need a special close ratio trans and likely rear gear too, but it’s also going to need to make a lot more over a shorter ~2000 rpm powerband to overcome the inefficiency of all those extra shifts. Unless that special trans is a semi or fully automated sequential trans/clutch system. Continuous high rpm operation is going to result in a shorter lifespan on a Renesis than a 13B.

A brapping idle is only that. It’s no indication of anything else including better power output, especially on a Renesis.

At least (some of) your post is back on point ...finally .
Still waiting for you to post some actual results for a 'built' 4 port to back up your claims.
