I have the same issue with my Hymee kit however, I rarely stall these days as I have adapted my driving habits.

I think my lightweight clutch is not helping the matter much either.

I understand most are increasing the idle RPM to get around the issue.

 

When I had steve kan dyno our car, I had a friend read the access report after a race. He did comment where he noticed as we came off the throttle, steve had upped the mixture?, tune?, whatever, to keep the car from dying when it came to idle. Only the master knows and you would have to ask him. It still drops to normal idle rpm's, so the normal idle speed was not raised. Hope that helps. Kinda maybe.

 

Yeah went to GA to pick up the R3 from Olddragger with Hoss-05 we got to drive his car and while it was a beast, you had to be careful coming off the throttle abruptly because it would stall. He also had Steve Kan tune his car after that and said the problem was fixed. Steve also tuned my Turbo 8 after myself and a couple of others could not get it running right and he did amazing work but yeah he doesn't tell you what he does,

Ok guys, I have stumbled upon this website in hopes that you can tell me what i have on my hands. I recently purchased a 2006 Rx8 with a pettit racing supercharger. When i purchased the car they took it off because they told me that there was something wrong with it and it would be an extra 2k dollars to fix it so i had them take it off and restore it back to stock and just put the supercharger in the trunk. I now have all of the supercharger, belts, hoses ect. I will put up some pictures in the morning of all the parts, but i was wondering if any of you guys have a clue on what its worth if its working, or if any of you know how i can get in touch with pettit racing and see if it is covered under warranty because i have not been able to find any phone numbers.

 

where are you located? Pettit Racing is in FL. They no longer makes those kits but I'm sure they will be willing to help you diagnose and/or fix it for you. Here is contact info:

If it's working and complete, you could probably get $5K for it fairly easily. Call Cam @ Pettit Racing and see if you can work something out with him, he may buy it from you and refurbish/resell it.

Who did you buy your car from, were they on this forum?

 

I bought it from the mazda dealer in Buford, Ga so i dont know who owned it before me, but the car is silver and the owner lived in georgia if that helps identify them on here
