Any idea what the codes are? Sounds like security problems.
I'm waiting on connectors for the box wiring. Also have a wideband and boost gauge on the way. I got the IC up and running, wounder what boost if any I'm pushing with the bypass open. I hear a pretty good wine, seems to like the factory tune at this pressure, no pinging, no codes. The zip this beast has setup like this is pretty crazy. Id say like the yellow 8 with the first smaller blower. Now, how to plumb in the solniod for boost control. Ow, I left the front snorkle in, not sure if it benifits the flow or hinders it. Seems from looking it over it won't effect the flow when locked open. Might help with cooler air intake.

Wow--on oem tune??
You are not at WOT any--right?
SSV still locked open?
If it can be installed on oem tune and driven enough to get it to a dyno--that would be a great marketing +
Moon--what do you think about the Goopy apex seals in the RX7 rotors?

By the way fixed the R3---as a last ditch effort before towing it to the stealership I just started replacing fuses---one at a time. None appeared blown. I got down to the inside fusebox and replaced the "meter" 10amp fuse and "BLAM" everything worked. Perfect. No problems what so ever. I did the "happy, happy, joy dance!"
That fuse holding it up to the sunlight was not "blown" to the naked eye. I took a magnifying gass and then I saw it. Right at the corner where the little strip starts going up---it was cracked. Not displaced--nothing. Just a crack. It was through and through so no current would pass.
I have NEVER seen that before. I have to work on my Karma.
But learning experience--if you ever have those symptoms--check that fuse.

Any thoughts about why the 09 engine has 2 knock sensors? I have an idea but id like to hear other opinions before I come to conclusions.

I forgot to mention I revamped the oil fill setup a little. I put a fitting on the aluminum fill housing and have direct vac going to it. Its not sucking any oil like the original T setup would even under total vac. No need for a vent any more. I'm just going to vent the blower alone.

watch when you add oil--sometimes it does back up and can cover the vacuum fitting.
I wish we could modify that housing that is bolted onto the engine--that 90 degree turn the oil has to make sure slows down the fill time.
I may look at this when my engine gets out?

Double knock sensors---Mazda warrey of bad gas?
Whats your toughts?
I V mounted my secondary radiator up agaisnt the bottom of the a/c condensor.
man it sure is hard to get air to flow through the a/c condensor and the radiator. I am actually wondering if it would be a good thing to separate the two?
Moon what is the timing maps like for the 09?

I think it might be for fuel. Wouldn't it be nice if they used it to help tune in timing maps? Might be a sure way to get rid of the big D. I'm thinking of redoing the oil fill, might do it in 1 inch or just start from scratch with a bunch of steel and a bender. It does need work. I just changed the oil yesterday and I hate that slow fill ****.

sure would--- but it cant adjust timing for each rotor? Wouldnt one GOOD knock sensor be able to do the same thing?

OD, I thought you were using the MAF controller? Not happy with it? Have you already put a MAP controller in and why.

Because Juan is the Pettit God and he does his that way.
The snow controller can do either maf or map. Just flick the switch.
I found mine was coming on during no boost at times because it was tricky to get the maf reading right
