The Official Overboosted Overlords Club
As a few of the forum peeps know, I'll be removing myself from the Overboosted Overlords list sometime soon when I get the time to pull the turbo kit off the RX-8. The motor is still strong as ever, but I've had nothing but problems with the car since I turbocharged it. Most of my problems are directly traceable to the shop that did the turbo installation, but I've invested more time and money in the car than I want to and have decided to revert the car to natural aspiration. I am keeping the RX-8, but I have picked up a new car to cure my craving for boost, a 2006 Lancer Evolution MR... so the RX-8 will be getting a lot less attention going forward. Thank you so much for all of the knowledge and help getting the RX-8 as far as it's gotten everyone. If you want to see pics of the new ride I added an album with some pics.
Hmm...I will have to do some more searching. Hard to find the right size. My local auto parts stores are no help. They stare at me blankly as they breathe thru their mouths.... I swear they hire the same people that work in the fast food business. They just grunt at me and hope I walk away, lol.
