Thanks ***. In my other thread the guy said to look around in here. I did but all I can find in the last 20 or so pages is "whos peepee is bigger" so I stoped reading (trust me you would too). ktb.

IIRC, the RX-8 differential is the same one that is used in the FD, which is good to about 600 h.p. This was verified and proven by our friends from PR with 20Bs who had no issues with them until they reached that power level. Once they did they also bent the lower links.
When I was developing the BHR axles with The Driveshaft Shop, they told me that the CV joints in the FD were good to about 600 but the RX-8 has better joints and that they are good to 800+. Our axles will snap in the 400-420 range.
Gil, you wouldn't know what to do with 300+ rwhp, anyway.
On another note . I finally was able to enjoy driving the 8 again yesterday after weeks of it giving me absolute crap . Gotta say it felt goooooooood !
I've detuned to around 300whp and 9psi which comes on nice and quick from 3000rpm onwards . Just driving moderately fast (in the 4000-6000 rev range) around some nice windy roads is an absolute joy in a car with a fast spooling turbo .

Not sure if its been mentioned here yet (Been off the forum for a while and haven't taken the time to read entire thread yet), but Pettit is building Renesis motors with FD rotors w/beefed up seals. Thought you fellow overlords might be interested.

let it go man. I got what I came for. Now I'm looking for some turbo options. See you around.
