Noise levels with Greddy turbo?
How much louder is the 8 with a Greddy turbo? The intake looks like a 'filter on a stick', similar to the K&N Typhoon.
I had to take off the Typhoon because it was way too noisy...the REVi is much better, and it draws air in from outside the engine compartment. However, it doesn't look like the Greddy kit can be easily modd'ed to accomodate the REVi.
So, is the Greddy intake as ear-piercing as the Typhoon?

The Greddy made my car quieter. Have the SR Motorsports hi-flow cat (with resonator) & RB cat back exhaust and it was a bit loud for my taste before the turbo. Now, it is great.

I agree, I have SR Motorsports high flow cat with resonator and SR Motorsports exhaust system and the car was definitely louder before the turbo. I am surprised how quiet the car is now.
