no, its actually a 60shot, and the bottle was cold, u should have seen the 1st nitrous run, it was like 210......I was like.....WTF? so I tried to rubb the tank to warm up (loool) which didn't really help that much, but hey wtf +8whp by rubbing nitrous tank? I think thats good ^^

The TCS/DSC did not interfere with these runs.

Looks like he put up good numbers without spray, but I'm still skeptical about the higher number, I think he could have put up 10 more horses or so. Bad thing is that while the system is still active there is no way to completely discount that it didn't interfere.

Well done Taj . You have now officially posted something worthwhile - we knew you would get there in the end

crap idk if he still has it, if he does then I'll ask him for it, I'll do it first thing tmr morning

btw, there was a dodge viper there before me, it dynoed 800whp @.@ I was like..........wtf car is that!??! if only I made 1/2 of that I'd be happy

the red graph is actually an average of 3 pulls that I did without the nitrous on (187, 189, 194) and I did 2 nitrous pulls, the 1st one was 210, then 218 as u can see, this is the 3 printouts I asked him for.......I'll see if I can get some others via email

I've been lurking on this thread for sometime and as I have a nitrous install by CRH I was interested to say the least at what you ran on the dyno taj.
I am happy with the results but not surprised b/c my butt dyno is within +- 1 whp (lol j/k)

</hijack> I am surprised however taj that you let them do the dyno. I have been on a dyno before and there is no secret to it (operating the car that is). I'm just saying I don't think I would let someone else run my car on the dyno.
</end hijack>

ok, so now that I went on the dyno risking my car's lovely cute little ***

so u guys know, u will get about this much with buying a stock zex nitrous system.....my system wasn't tuned, no bottle heater, no purge kit, no.....anything......this is straight out of the box, u can get this kind of power

and since I dynoed SAFELY and nothing happened (except tail pipe caught on fire after hitting the nitrous, yes, just like in the movies)
well, lets just say nitrous is just as safe, and probably easier to manage than a turbo/supercharger

next time I swear to god I'm gonna try and get 230whp..... =.=

I think this dyno should be added to Mysql101's dyno comparison thread to show how nitrous compares to the turbos and superchargers...I know its not perfect but it does show a nice gain...

What was it we were doing Charles can you recall?
I remember running 75 shot, but it was pingin' in hot weather, but running 65 Nitrous, with 75 fuel worked well...

Who woulda thunk it?

LOL Nice job. Finally a post with some hard evidence. Cold bottle or not, those numbers look pretty dam good. With the bottle at optimal temp and pressure, im sure you can get those numbers up a bit more, putting them exactly where they would be expected. Kudos
