I am not saying that it is Kane's fault, but he is busy until the weekend then we should be able to tune. The reason I have to wait for Kane is because I have been working with him to get the AP to work with PPO2. So once we get this tuned then I will be able to give you guys a better video. Then I will turn up the boost and dyno it. I am going to shoot for 13PSI with meth.

Probably not a priority right now but once you turn up the boost (13 psi ) you will want a way to ease in the throttle .

Right I am running a dyno tuned map from MM, when I was still using the stock greddy turbo, and stock ignition. But since I now have the BHR Ignition Upgrade I dont want to go over 300 g/s and mess up the engine.

So me and Kane have had to start from scratch with setting up the MAF calibration, etc. with the AP then use PPO2.

But I dont believe that my throttle maps have been tweaked.

Nice! That is what I'm talking about. Any idea the whp range you are going to be hitting at that much boost? I'm planning to keep my boost no higher than 12 PSI with meth as extra protection. I have no idea how much the stock clutch and transmission can take before they start failing.

I have no idea how much whp I will have at 13PSI. I have only pushed it to 8PSI right now. But I am shooting for 350-375 (if the turbo has enough juice to get me 375.) I spoke with Charles @ BHR and he told me the stock clutch can last between 320-325whp. Transmission is around 400whp.

I tried to take my turbo off today so I could send it in for this upgrade and without air tools there is no way i can get 90% of the bolts out. I will return to this thread when I get some pro help.... dun dun dun.

haha. You will definately like it when the boost is turned up and you rev it past 6K. Rotarys don't really start to make power till 6K RPM. Not unless you have a 3 rotor...

Yeah but the tune right now isnt set up for upgraded ignition that I have. So I dont want to go over 6k until then. Hopefully this weekend though.

That would suck to have to tease yourself by only going to 6k, the third intake ports don't even open yet and you probably just start to feel the real power.

You don't need air tools. What problems are you running into specifically? I took my turbo out without removing the manifold and only the passenger side motor mount. No air tools were needed.

Hey Bryan, how does the Turbo you are building for me compare to J. Cabs ? Or is it going to be the same thing ?

It flows around 58 lbs/min so I am assuming it can probably hold boost to up 9k but it will more than likely make max power at around 8.5k Maybe Bryan will be able to give more information.

It will be the same compressor, but the rest of the turbocharger will be different.
