Insight: Turbo'ing this engine requires way more work and cost than you are expecting. Gather up $10,000 for starters.

Advice: Don't.

Now, if you were someone to read all the build threads and stickies in this subforum, you wouldn't have posted the question, and I'm sure you would then get much more advice on your options and choices. But it's clear you haven't done that, and since there is a 0% success rate for people that aren't willing to read for themselves....

...this is the answer you get.

And probably the nicest one too. Put your flame suit on.

Stop thinking about a turbo and start searching for supporting mods.

Then after you are done that report back to us on what you found.

Do not post in here until your search is complete young padawon.

Yep.....Tblown's pretty good to the military

Hey there Marine. Go to 'major horsepower upgrades' and look through some of those threads. You'll find some good stuff to read through. Alot of people have do greddy kits and upgrade the weak parts in the existing system.

Others have built their entire system from scratch. My guys were very good about communication, and if you decide to do a completely custom kit, i'd definitely reccommend calling Elliot at Turblown to start.

Theres pretty specific followon questions that you have to ask (how much hp/torque do you want? do you want the power delivery damn near instantaneously or later on in the powerband? is this going to be a street machine? Supporting mods? [upgraded cooling system, clutch/transmission, exhaust...etc]

Reading through a couple of threads will really get the ball rolling though. Hope this helps.

I would recommend looking into the Pettit Racing Supercharger.
