Yeah, but it's like a thread titled "Jessica Biel", and someone started posting pics of Jessica Rabbit. It really doesn't belong in the same thread.

Sure, few of us would seriously consider dating Jessica Rabbit (mostly because she's imaginary), but uhhhh. What was my point again?

Hey guys, I wanted to share a time slip from a recent trip to a local 1/4 mile dragstrip.

The run was performed on street tires, (not sure which kind but I know they are about shot) mounted on factory wheels.

Through the traps in 3rd at 8200rpm.

Mods

Mazsport 5-speed conversion
Mazsport Ignition solution
Full exhaust
Act clutch and Flywheel

Excellent R/T and a job driving cflrx8.

Wade, I say we put some drag radials on it, get a 1.9 on the 60 foot and we're in the 13's on a stock ECU!

well he did stop one shift with his setup -that in itself is very nice.
Scott you easily have a 13 sec car with just a few more tweaks.
Congrats!

i can do a 2.00 60' completely stock. (14.48)

:P

if my 60 foot is 2.1X my times are low 15s - 15.00. so a 2.1 60" and 14.37 means a bit.

i think there is some space to shaved off that 14.37.

one thing that really irks me is having to shift to 4th in the last 40 feet. are you still in 3rd, or do you have to shift to 4th?

The the Mazsport 5speed upgrade will save fuel!

Now that's alone is a good enough reason for everyone to order one. It will pay for itself long term.

Nice. I'm totally getting one once I pay off what I already owe. I can blame Scott for part of that one. Exhuast, Mid-pipe, Ignition. Once those and a couple other things are paid off, all for my car, this will be my next purchase!

Sorry to put this thread up again.
I just broke my tranny thanks to the mechanic's incompetence (asked to check it, opened and dead after 2 days...).
I don't know if the warranty will cover that issue so i need to ask this:
How will the 5 gear work on the track compared to our 6 speed?
I am modded but still NA and i always found the short gearings to help with our little torque. What would it be like with this transmission?

Thank you very much!
