Newt is just saying with this kinda a power you're going to need to upgrade other parts of the car to maintain feel and drive-ability.
Fender roll, wider tires, modified suspension, bigger brakes. Stuff like that.
Probably more than another 10K of parts. (I am guessing here, just a guess, no kill please)
Could an Octane boster be used to get a more aggressive tune on pump gas?

Dont forget guys one of the best things about turbo charging is the ability to change the pressure/horsepower at the press of a button. If you are having traction problems in lower gears (yea I know, rough problem to have) use low boost. Once you are in third press a momentary button and you will switch you from low to high boost and enjoy the increased power and torque. We setup customers street and track day cars like this all the time. For instance, use 6psi 300rwhp (low boost) for normal lapping and if you are running down the straight and want to pass the guy in front press the momentary button. Boost climbs very quickly to 10psi-350rwhp and settles then stays there until you press the button again switching back to low. Some guys call it the "oh sh*t I'm loosing" button.
With turbo chargers and modern boost controllers you have the ability to dial in the power to suit the track condition, tire quality and weather conditions. Want more twist the little ****, want less twist the little ****. Simple, instant and oh so much fun...Scott

Wow, cool info. Thank you Scott, I've been wondering if something like that was possible. If I ever pull together the mulla to go FI (1 to 2 year min) then I would deffinitly want something like that.
Though, I would want to eventually do the other mods too. So, I could have my FI cake and eat it too.

my Rear Michelin 265s give me almost no traction problems at all. Even when I drive really aggressively. (Unless I break traction on purpose)
Most of the time, once you get rolling, they stick well. So before getting ready to drop a fortune on all kinds of upgrades to your suspension, start with the basic stuff, maybe it will be all you need

Wow nice dannobre, how much did wheels + rims set you back?
Have you found the car handling right?
What shocks, springs, sway bars, etc have you changed?

do you have your fenders rolled?
The reason I ask is because mine R 265s are in just-just.
the passenger side is OK , but on the drivers side I had to roll the rear fender a little bit.

I will step in in defense of scott and mazsport on this one. You havnt met scott have you? He is perfectionist and would not put out a product that was less then it could be and this takes time and effort. There shop is packed right now. His services and products are in high demand and that demand has to be balanced with his up and coming products. What would you choose, to make money and keep current commitments made under the shop name, or blow it all off to dyno tune a product that is still selling itself even without the numbers out. Its not all about throwing out numbers. This is a business. Yes i want to see the numbers and I know scott does too. We all do. Scott has an expectation and i know he will not release it until he gets that top number he knows is under that hood somewhere.
