Maybe I mis read it or took it wrong, I have been rather tense lately.

I thought he was trying to imply the whole Fluid/Mazsport drama bit.

And Yes he was a very nice guy.

what i believe about scott is that he is a nice guy, but he just can't do business, that's all. as a person, he is a nice guy, as a business man, he is not good. o well, i had a good experience toward him, so i can't talk bad about him, but it's just my opinion.

I think you did take it wrong . I was merely pointing out that you might be friends but not one and the same person as the poster above me speculated .

Chickenwafer was correct in his statement for the use of the igniter.

There were other uses as well but that is neither here nor there becasue it was Microtech and it wasn't exactly the best solution.

What is wrong with it? Why is it not the best solution? You are talking about FI applications, right??? It works well on my NA.

I would even go out on a limb and say that stealing from people is a "business model" that doesn't work well with most crowds.

AJ's, I love that pic of your 8 btw, it really brings out the red in that paint. Beautiful car and its a Shinka so it was handcrafted by God.

I am begining to think that the Mazsport coils are the main culprit when I blew my motor a while back . I'm now running even more boost than i was then and the OEM coils seem to be handling it without issue .
But when I look at the coils sitting there on my bench next to an old OEM coil I think - these have to be better coils than the OEMs - there must be a way to utilise them ......

I have 2000 NA miles on my Mazsport coils, but I will be pulling them this weekend, hopefully if time allows, and placing the kit up for sale.

Thank you and it is true God is embodied in those dear Japanese rotary builders over at Hiroshima and built my Shinka, mmm... handcrafted rotary engines.

Still not sure but when I blew the motor i was having really bad misfires . I was running at around 8 psi at high rpm .
I'm now running similar psi/flow and no sign of a misfire . The coils are the only major change between the two setups ....

The samething happen to Mysticl or what ever his name is but I really dont think it was just due to the mazsport coils. There was a guy in Vegas that had a yellow 8 with the greddy kit. Turns out it was due to compression not the kit.

Thats fine.

The coils are a great choice, the igniter could be improved.

We are doing so actually and will be releasing our kit soon. Hopefully Next week to answer the need of those Ignition starved forced induction customers.

Huh. Did you adjust the dwell timing at higher rpm? Should be at 3.5ms (I know this sounds like a broken record by now tho)

I was having really bad misfires with LS2 coils in boost only. Back to oem for now.

Did it go away when you went back to stock coils?

What EMS? Accessport? Stock maps have a lot of dwell..Maybe ask Jeff if he changed the dwell on his setup.

The LS2 coils charge fast..so they should be OK...did you check that they were all working properly?
