Couldnt sleep, so I spent some time with my car:
*New plugs are installed. Old ones didnt look bad, just a tad black. The trailers were still orinigal with just shy of 25k miles on em Now running Rx7 trailing plugs all around(stole the washers off the 4 original plugs for the trailers).
*Hooked up my boost controller.
*Replaced one of the turbo coolant lines (it had a couple of tiny pinhole leaks).
*I've pulled my midpipe and marked it for cutting.

Its only 7:15am on a sunday..so I"m gonna wait an hour or two to cut it and weld my resonator in. Especially since my Father inlaw is asleep in my guest room.....my wife is going to be so annoyed I got up to work on the car at 2am while they are here lmao! Eff it, he is welcome to come out in the garage and help if he wants

Thanks

At some point I"m going to have to get the gear to weld aluminum and make some 1 piece pipes for the engine bay. This is my proof of concept. Simple/cheap to cut or modify anything.

Car is back together. The resonator was a good idea. Exhaust note is toned down a bit at idle and low load. At high load/rpm it sounds about the same, but a tad "tighter". Still loud, but not as raspy and obnoxious.

I like the boost controller! More torqy in low gears, yee haw! :D I always felt it spooled up just fine, but wow what a difference. I've gone back to the 6psi port on my wastegate until I get used ot the BC. That way if it fails(or I screw it up) its only 12psi or so

Love the build, ive been tempted to get the Greddy kit recently but i really feel like your setup (with the turbo in a farther location) is more reliable as the heat and back pressure do not back up as much into the rotor housings. I really dont have the time to weld up an entire kit but i am tempted to buy a greddy kit and at least make my own manifold. Anyways i applaud the good work and would love to hear it so get a vid of it on a dyno

Thanks for the support I keep wanting to make some new vids, but cant figure out how to hold my phone and drive safely at the same time

It probably wont go on the dyno for a while. I'm kind of learning how to tune it as I go here. And I'm alwyas fiddling with things both mechanically and in the tune while I try to figure things out. I'm tempted to just pay someone to tune it, but with how experimental my setup is I'd hate to pay for a tune then change something mechanical and make the tune worthless.

Did some playing with the tune today. Here are some screens of a log. First pic was at just under 9 psi. Second was at just under 12psi.

Now I know you guys are going to start interpreting the Maf readings. but we all know I am unsure on the tune. I can say though today that my guages were pretty much hitting exactly what I had tuned for under load. And my big injectors are actually scaled slightly undersized.

Looks very promising - why dont you just slap it on the dyno for a couple of pulls . Sounds like your tune is pretty well dialled in and you don't need anyone else to "tune" it any more than it already is .......

I'll see if I can find an open dyno time nearby that I can get to after work in the next couple of days.

Dyno is scheduled. Happening today unless I get stuck at work. Place is like an hour and a half away, but supposed to be a really good shop
Going to do 3 pulls. 8.5psi, 11.5psi and once we see how my afrs look maybe I"ll go for some dyno queen numbers on the 3rd

What type of welder and gas did you use to weld this up?
