Sux when you first OPEN it up and whoosh....... engine dies....... loss of power steering.....CRAP DID I BLOW MY ENGINE??? No, it's just a coupler that lost a worm clamp. reinstall while burning hands on Hot as FU@# engine, embarrassed cos it's on the side of the road..... Check and double check the clamps for couplers.

That turbo seems like the SR20 turb (or turd) can only push 5 PSI and could really use some ceramic ball bearings. I guess the boost bug will bite.

As did the T25 Turb, tho the T28 internals make for better boost while ultimately it's nice going with a T3 setup to eliminate the desire to upgrade later. Hence the boost bug, when the greddy just dont cut it anymore.

just wish the greddy could perform through redline... happily

you can run it to redline, it doesn't drop that much. it's still fun in my book

Sweet!

Thats fantastic, I figure a turbo will drop a psi or two when "outside it's sweet spot" still though, at the point of using a T3/T4 setup, the need to replace injectors and fuel pump, plumbing and adapters, apex seals, will have the wallet and beer supply thinned in a hurry! For an extra 60 RWHP the Greddy/Cobb AP seemingly becomes a great choice! One that makes us without it cry "me too"

greddy will take you to 6500 rpm at 9psi no problem and taper off from there as the aux ports open . Fit the blocking plate and you get to 7500 with good power .
In practically all driving bar full on track or drag racing the Greddy will not dissapoint you one bit .

but running the stock greddy snail to redline won't give you a intake charge (heat) that will actually hurt performance?

Notice any difference in the 6500 - 7500 range ?
You may need to readjust your boost controller and lean it out a little ...

actually it was running incredibly lean. i did one WOT run, and it felt good...but I was getting some datalogs for MM's calibration process for the AP...so it's not completely tuned yet.

I'm getting tuned this weekend too. Til then I keep it garaged as much as I can. When I do drive it, I keep it under 3k (closer to 2k) with as little load as possible.
