How Kane and Ray build a Ceramic, Ported, Turboed Renesis!!!!
I'm sure if you line people up cash in hand, BHR will accommodate. However, it's probably fairly labor intensive so there would be a cap on how many engines they could turn around a month (a handful?) and still get anything done on the side.
The labor intensity isn't really that much different than any other hand-cut side seal rebuild I have done before (and in a few ways it was easier to work with the ceramic apexes but we hadda be careful not to drop them and be sure to keep them clean).
Lemme say THIS much; unlike when I rebuilt my engine back in MI inside my "serial-killer" shed, I was very happy to have my surgically-clean garage in AZ for this build.

Having the room to work and the tools to do it properly is a great thing.
I rememeber you were getting your hands dirty, I was wedged under the dash, and I made some comment about not wanting to have to call the fire department/rescue squad if you ended up under the car/dashboard or something like that. I was in "rare form" that day and you were starting to understand that I only harrass those whom I like.

I still have pics of Flashwing working on my car that I'm trying to get sold to the National Enquirer
Alright!!!!
Just have to move the schedule to the right some and we should be ok....
Tell Erick his painting looks siiiick!
As for lightening; Ray said it best - also in that same convo with Ray and Kevin from RR is going 3mm Ceramics; and the same issue kept coming up - if a rotor gets jacked up or cracks due to the material removal - the motor has to come apart again; to save a few ounces it just isn't worth it for a street car.

Wow 5 pages of stuff I have yet to read. Hey Kane anybody can operate a rattle can.
Well almost anybody. I have a lot of video and pics. But in the middle of the build the batteries in my camera went dead.
