High Flow Cat + Turbo... feedback please
I was wanting to hear from people on here who have boosted and have Hi-Flow Cats (not midpipes) on their cars.
So far I only know of the Rotary Performance High-Flow Cat and SR Motorsports. If there are any others out there... let me know.
I was mainly curious to know if they are throwing CELs after putting it on.
Let me know your feedback... THANKS!

It will make the 8 run leaner and with the greddy tune, basicaly will run very bad, lots of jumping and backfires. I as well as several others gave up and are running the stock cat with the turbo. If you are going to run the high flow for sure get it dyno tuned! the only way!

Had a hi-flow cat (SR Motorsports w/ resonator), but the backfiring was pretty bad. We tried to lean it out on a bit on the de-accel, but it was still bad. Finally just pulled it & stuck the stock back on. CEL's came on pretty much from the turbo kit, so having a hi-flow cat didn't throw the CEL.

OK... the RP High Flow Cat and Greddy Exhaust are in.
Sound:
The car sounds VERY SMOOTH. While driving on the highway at a constant speed the exhaust tone is silent. When accelerating it sounds very clean, and doesnt over power the sound of the turbo spooling.
Back-Fire:
The car has not been tuned yet, so it is back-firing a little more than it should. Back firing is going to be a natural occurence in any rotory vehicle due to the inherent design in our motors, so I'm not too worried about this. Any FC and FD owners here can testify to this, and hey... everybody loves flames right? (NOTE: No Flames have actually made it out the pipes yet, and i believe its getting killed in the Cat)
Clips:
I'll upload some sound clips tonight and post it in a seperate thread.

Great news! So all in all the car is running fine, mine did lots of jerkiness with the high flow and once I took it off and replace stock cat, car was smooth. This is good news!
