ok when i get back from basic for the army ill have enough money for my turbo but what i dont know is what else i need im gonna get the Greddy turbo but what else do i need like the boost gauge and all the other stuff, i have an exhaust kit on the car and a typhoon air intake witch i will loose when i get the turbo so if yall could help me that would be great( prices would help too)

 

You need to read the posts in the sticky theads here https://www.rx8club.com/forumdisplay.php?f=93. Then do some more searches for Turbo threads. Adding a turbo to this car requires proper planning and you still might have problems.

 

ok to make it short for you ... you will need to think about the best way to control your injectors .... the greddy emanage is not the best thing and it makes more problems, interceptor is a computer that works wonders man... think about it also boost gauge but make sure YOU GET A WBO2 ...... (wide band o2) AEM has a nice one you want to know how lean or rich you are running ....... and then get it tuned ...

 

greddy turbo kit runs 3200 (with emanage ultimate)

install: usually 1000.

gauges: wideband is about 270. boost is about 180.

You might want to consider a catless midpipe ($280), and a less restrictive exhaust ($600).

these are rough prices, as prices change all the time, but will give you an idea on what you need.
