I typically go for 1.5° per PSI overall.
That,s too much timing advance, that's why them breaks their apex seal on 13 btw with low compression rotors with pump gas is safe runs 10 deg. at 12 psi boost, now with renesis with high comprs. rotor is best run timing lower than 13btw here in Puerto Rico renesis engine do not support more 10 deg. of timing with 93 oct pump gas without breaking in the process. other altelnative is inject alcohol + water with a nozzle system, with this system you can runs with more timing and boost safer you find it in summit (Snow Injection system)

There doesn't seem to be much point in it right now. Also, I've already popped one engine, and I don't have the $$$ for another rebuild.

FYI: I tightened up the wastegate actuator AND fixed a small vacuum leak. I now need another trip to the tuner because the boost pops up to 10 psi vs 7.

While you are making alterations, you should do the GReddy fix 2, if you haven't already done so.
