greedy turbo upgrades?
i just got a greedy turbo modified for a price less than what i can admit to, but it's got a 57 trim compressor now. i hope it does good.
anyhoo--- does anyone have turbine flow maps available for the greedy? the t2 housing really sucks, but it's a very large turbine for what it is. i'm pretty sure the turbine (well, the housing really) is going to be the limiting factor in the setup now. i just wanted to know by how much.

i believe it starts life as an 18g.
when i get everything done, i'll be able to give hp numbers and all that good stuff.
in the mean time, if anyone's interested, hose said it would be $500 to modify the turbo.
mjturboshop.net their website sucks, so just call. and don't talk to danny--he's a noob. talk to hose.

well everything's put together and the car is rollin' with a streetport. this thing makes boost at less than half throttle...he's gonna have breaking it in with my no-boost instructions.
dyno as soon as we figure out what to do for an ems and it's got some miles on it.

it's got the emangle right now, but i've got no craptop adapter so i'm stuck for something to do with it. he wants a "real" ems anyway, to take advantage of the porting and bigger compressor.
there's actually going to be a lawsuit over this one. homeboy took his car to a greedy-authorised dealer, paid them gobs of money, and got back a car with 3 busted apex seals. he's a noob, so he bought right into "oh yea man... it'll idle like that cuz the turbo" poor guy.
so his lawyer is gonna contact me and let me know what part i need to play in getting him reimbursed by the shop for killing his car.
but longstory short;
it's tuned, but obviously poorly since it blew up before he even got the car back. he'll be fine as long as he stays out of the boost until we either base tune it, or do the ems. he's debating on the interceptor, or just waiting for the txs thing.

I think you may have just ruined his case with the statement of

Anyway, i'd like to hear the shops side to this.

That's too funny. "umm, it won't start - That's just what happens when you have a turbo on it." or "it's leaking oil all over the place ? That's what happens when you have a turbo on it." Some of these shops are just so shady.
