I was wondering where to even start looking for a turbo exhaust manifold for my AT 2004 RX8?

Lowmount = somewhat faster spool due to less piping, less heat BUT not enough physical space, and oil issues with your turbo

Topmount = BOSS look when you pop your hood, more space (can use bigger turbo), less issues getting oil to and from the turbo BUT drastically Increased heat in engine bay and you take up a lot of room ... for example with a top mount, battery relocation to the trunk is a must; with a low mount, it is not

Oil drainage issues back into your pan when the turbo is too low ... go use the search function and read about different kits man

Thanks "man", but I'll rely on experience rather than misinformation.

Errr, you're both right and wrong.... the issue with oiling was mainly for the Greddy turbo, and it was due to speed of drainage versus the volume of oil going into the turbo.... no matter the mounting location if you drown the CHRA in oil, you'll blow the seals.
