I just changed these ( four RE9B-T's) after 10,000 miles. They all looked pretty good, all of them were pretty much identical to this one so I only took one pic but if anyone wants more I still have them and can snap pics.

Erosion is due to my cheap NGK wires not having enough resistance to tame my cheap stock coils being too strong and deposits are because of cheap Idemitsu premix

7-10psi depending, I have two boost settings, I generally back it down this time of year to the 7psi setting.

I was using BUR9EQPs all round till a recent dyno identified some pings that didn't go away with less timing and more fuel + W/M (@16psi)

Switched to R6725 10.5 and 11.5 (extra washer on the trailings) and will be testing that combo soon.
Did you use any spacers with the BUR9EQPs?

Cool thx. I'm in experiment mode. I've seen some go without and others say a spacer is required for trailing. I don't have a housing out to check clearance but side by side with a 6701 the ground tip is the same length with the 5255.

I also test fit without an extra washer and saw no evidence of anything touching the end of plug.

I figured most would understand but to clarify I'm specifically referring to trailing.

From what I could tell without having an engine apart to see inside I would agree with "not needed" but preferred to err on the side of caution. What about the "wanted" bit?

5+ years without a washer, pro engine builders don't use extra washers even with the large OE gap, the correct language is 'err on the side of ignorance'

Blah blah blah. You didn't answer the question. Why is an extra not "wanted"? What are the negative effects? I'm not saying you're wrong but you don't get to stir the **** pot without licking the spoon.

You really can't go around correcting language when you can't even use correct sentence structure or punctuation. Just sayin'

You're absolutely right. Whether or not you test it in detail on the dyno and then decide to share the details from your experience is entirely up to you.

The Grammar Police comment was surprising, always thought you had a higher standard like being a Mall Cop or something ...

LOL I made no claims. You stated a spacer is not "wanted" for the 5255 in the trailing position. I asked why. You have yet to give an answer. Sorry if I got under your skin. I expected more from you, as you are normally to the point and make no bones about it. If you don't have an actual reason to state that's fine. Just don't clutter the thread with non-answers and elementary school playground wit. On the other hand, if you do have legitimate information then I ask you again to please share, as I am genuinely interested.

You'r not nor ever have been under my skin. You don't have to follow my advice and I'm certainly not under any obligation to you or anyone else. Don't dish it out if you can't handle it coming back. Maybe try following follow your own advice.

Still waiting for your reason for your statement. That is all. Are you without reason? You seem to just keep coming back with nothing....

Interesting that you focused on responding to this first with no uncertainty. Seems like I struck a nerve

I take it as you have no actual answer to give and that is how I leave it.
