Since we've already established which side you tend to err on, I'm perfectly fine with that assumption.

Thanks for sharing! This is the kind of actual information I was looking for instead of "because I say so" from you-know-who

I assume that those photos are with no additional washers/spacers...

IDK you can try asking elliot but it's a 5 yo thread. I would imagine the deeper it is will basically retard timing a bit. so if you put in deeper plugs I'd be careful and measure them carefully since there's always some variation in manufacturing.

I appreciate that offer for sure. At this point I'm pretty happy with keeping an extra washer on my trailing. Based on those photos it seems to be pretty tight. If you feel up to it then it might be interesting to see if yours show any major difference from the other photos.

Update :
Recently inspected the 6725s again after 20,000kms . This looks to be about the limit of their useful life as the centre electrode was starting to get well rounded . The 10.5 leadings looked fine but the 11.5trailings were starting to look quite black .
Pretty happy with that life but have decided to run the 10.5s all round from now on.

FWIW ..... this is about four times the life I was getting with the BUR9 EQPs

Good info. Aside from the extended life do you see any other benefits of the 6725 over the BUR9EQP? The 6725-10.5 (NGK 3857) seems to run around $40/ea, unless I am looking at the wrong ones? For me personally I can pick up the BUR9EQP (NGK 5255) locally at Napa for $8.99/ea. I should pull mine out and check them. Been running them since August, not sure on the mileage...

EDIT: I should specify - Aside from the extended life and heat range do you see any other benefits of the 6725 over the BUR9EQP?

I've got BR10EIX-solid Leading with stock Traling at 10-12 PSI. I won't be getting much driving time for a while though. We'll see what they look like in a few months.

Just thought I would update this since someone was asking me about plugs. I am still running on a set of RE9BT's in the T and L and they have lasted a couple of years now. I pulled them not long ago just to see and they still looks great. Still on E85 tune at 10psi.

I wasn’t sure if you even owned it any more ... kind of miss you not being around so much these days.

I am barely holding on to it and driving it for a week didn't help, I missed the torque. But I have sworn to sell many times before and didn't, The car is lucky it's worth less than the average 10 year old Civic.
