Downpipe and Intercooler for Greddy Turbo

Does anyone know if there are Downpipes and Intercoolers available to work with the greddy rx-8 turbo kit?
The kit is selling on ebay with an anonymous intercooler, so i am guessing it is junk.

Have you guys heard anything about this, or if it is in development by someone?

The Greddy kit already comes with the downpipe & IC. I have not heard of any other companies making after-aftermarket IC's that work specifically for the Greddy kit. I was thinking about talking to an outfit out here to see if they could specially make me an IC that was bigger for my kit, but most people think the current unit is perfectly sized for the Greddy kit.

The IC is on par with the quality of all the other Greddy ICs. It is pretty good and plenty big for the application.
The "downpipe" is only about 12" long and a straight shot from the WG to the midpipe. It would be impossible to improve on it.

Wouldn't a ceramic coating improve the downpipe?

Uh, no. Maybe coating the manifold would be good (keeping heat in the system until it reaches the turbo), but you don't want to keep the heat in the downpipe, particularly.

I was thinking more of minimizing unintended heat transfer. This is purely wild-*** speculation but it seems like keeping heat from migrating would increase the heat load of items already designed to handle heat (like the headers or exhaust) and reduce radiant heat absorbtion on parts that shouldn't get warm (like the cupholders). Two caveats of course are bang for buck and exceeding temp ranges on the hot parts.

Just curious, but does the greddy kit come with a midpipe as well (to replace the cat)?

No, it comes with a "turbo" manifold (cast iron) which is basically a header designed to be used with the turbo. That is as far as it goes. The catalytic & cat back exhaust are not covered by the turbo kit.
