Well I may have a few drives that you can make later this year. I really want to do a weekend drive down your way. Heard there are some great roads around the gourge and towards Astoria.

OK so update time I suppose.
Dondo's RX8, affectionately known as "Blurr". Is running fine and boosting to about 11psi peak and 9 psi constant. Now we do have some room to add more boost. We'd like to take it to 12 psi in the very near future.
She did go on the dyno this morning to see what she was doing since the tuning by Kane, which I am very impressed with. I'll attach the dyno chart for "you people". haha
The engine is ported. Don't ask if it's a street port or any other style of port. It's ported as big as possible while being safe. Not going to get into the specifics. Sorry.
As you can see the boost flattens out above 6600 rpm. I think we have a little more power up there we can get a hold of.

To my eye .................. there looks to be an issue there robbing you of power .

A turbo 8 like this should take off when the APVs open . This one ..............looks like it is starting to , then falls flat.

EBC isn't set up on it. That's going to be a big part of that issue.

This may turn into the dreaded "stupid wastegate won't stay closed" issue I'm afraid. Hopefully not, hopefully the EBC will be enough.

Good luck with that .... just from the way the boost is fluctuating past 6500, it looks like it will need something more than just an EBC.

This is the SFR Turbo Kit. It has an External Wastegate. Recirculated. I'm in Vegas today working on Phil's 8. I'll get back to work on it when I get back to Seattle. Need to see what can be done with the EBC. I want 300whp.

Looking forward to seeing you too Fazda.

These numbers are similar to mine. I need to look at my old graph to see how much our curves lineup.

So I'm assuming the Tial 46mm? Man I never noticed how funky the wastegate placement is on that kit. If I go top mount (thinking about it) I will use something like this.
