Mike is just like that. Never ask him how much he paid for something you've already bought because it's going to make you feel sad how much better of a deal he managed to get

GOODbox is installed. Instructions were excellent and there was more than enough length to the cable harness to install in the coin tray slot instead of the prescribed ashtray location.
I ran the vac line to the GOODbox during the sc install so this part was just connecting the wiring harness and configuring the gauges, etc.
Here's my custom startup text (neat little feature of the GOODbox):
And here's my idle boost gauge reading:
My second gauge setting is AFR and IAT both displayed at once and I can switch between them with the push of a button. I'm really impressed with this product and now it's available for group buy here: https://www.rx8club.com/group-buy-center-85/goodbox-200748/

Cant thank you enough for the PM and talking with me about the filter relocation etc... I think I am going to me moving it again, back to the drivers side of the bay.
Teamrx8 brought up the fire factor if something blew. Exhaust on that side. Anyway, it looks awesome and I cant wait to see it at SS13.

Re the Greddy Oil Filter Relocation Kit:
I drove the car from July 4th to July 9th with no issues but when I pulled into our local Dicks Drive-in meet, parked, and revved the engine a bit the oil filter exploded off the relo mounting plate and spewed 3 quarts of oil out. (insert lubed dicks comment here hehe)
it was 9pm so anijo gave me a lift to a local auto parts store (closed already) where i had to argue with the guy until he gave me a new filter. i picked up another RX8 filter since i figured it wasn't in tight or something like that. i installed the new one nice and tight and patrick_andraste double checked it for me, filled her up with oil again and started the car with no problems, leaks, etc.
we then continued to hang out and i tried to clean up my mess with some kitty litter (i think there may be some pics to post later but i didn't take any myself)
then i needed to clean under the car so i fired it up to pull it forward and hear a POP! sound and then a pouring liquid sound so i shut it off again and popped the hood to find the second filter spewing another 2 quarts of oil. this time i tried to thread it back on and it went fine until it gets tight and you give it another turn and it skipped the threads! then i tried to screw it on and just pull it straight off and it came off in my hand. obviously something was up with these filters so easy_e1 dug around online and found that an 1985-1987 Toyota Corolla GTS filter should work on it so LCheung drove an hour away to the nearest open Walmart to buy a handful of them (Thanks for saving the day again). Here's the one he picked up:
Once he got back we looked at the two filters and the Toyota one is much beefier with thicker walls, more threads, and a larger size altogether. i don't have a side by side pic but compare this to your standard filter and you'll see what i mean
So this one threaded on just like the other but i cranked it down as hard as i could and didn't skip any threads. i've been running it for the last couple days with no issues so i think this is the one for me. online the greddy kit doesn't tell you which filter to use for the Mazda relo kit which is annoying but Ray's going to post the correct part numbers on his site so folks can find the information for next time.
maybe some of the folks who got pics of my mess will be able to throw some pics up. i'm gonna have to lay low at dicks for awhile; don't want them too mad at us for making a mess...

Actually, we should be thanking you See, in the past when we've had name collisions, we've appended the color to their name (e.g. Red Shaun and Black Sean, who are both white) but we now have 2 Sunlight Silver Mike's. Now though, Dondo is officially BP Mike
