Does the turbo need to be broken in?

Do you have to break in the turbo for some miles or is it bolt and go?

My turbo does not boost more than 5.8 psi (40 KPA) or 0.40 BAR.
Does someone knows what should the boost be set from factory?? Shouldn't it be 7 psi (around 50KPA) or .50 bar?

How many people are running 8psi or more boost??

Thanks

I think regardless of the answer on breaking in a turbo...you should still give the car a period of test and tune...aka don't go thwacking on it full throttle right away until you are confident that everything is installed correctly and functioning as its supposed to.
