COBB w/INT-X for CELs

i dont' know if someone asked this question...
i need a help..
i am using the INT-X, and i have a lot of CELs...what happen is that i borrowed my friend COBB, and i download it to my car.
in COBB, we are using the STOCK RX8 map from COBB, no modification at all, and from the PARAMETERS, we "UNCHECKED" all the codes, and we reflash my car with the new map.
so, i went to inspection, my mechanic told me that nothing is cleared yet...there is not light at all, but the ECU is not cleared at all...can anybody help me with this?
how cobb work? does it just turn teh light off? not the sensor? i am confused because there is no engine light at all...
anybody can help?

I thought it clears the DTC's and the light and shows the monitors as ready so you can pass inspection.....

11 seconds of using the "search" feature.

BTW - don't uncheck ALL the codes. Just the ones that are failing the car and setting the MIL.

It can take weeks to get the readiness flag and if you have some sensors missing it will never set.

Why don't you just tune the thing with the AP and be done with it?

are you talking about taking my INT-X out and replace it with AP? or i can both? dont you think it will be the same if i use AP? because i took one sensor off which is the APV....that's the reason why i got a lot of CELs....can you explain it to me?

I know that ap is good, but isn't it the sama if I add AP on the top on int-x? Because I just add regular map into ap, and unchecked all the lights.
The problem is that I took the apv off From the car, so I will have a hard time to inspect my car...can u explain to me how ap can pass my emmision wiout intx if I tune it with ap? I need some logic, because my logic is off now,
