BUR9E vs RE9B

BUR9E vs RE9B
Searched and found a lot of "trash talking" and the only useful help I saw was from Brettus
I see the common thing to do is run the FD Bur9e trailing plugs for both the leading and trailing positions on the renesis with 2 washers on each trailing plug.
Now with those being a #9 heat range and the stock renesis being a #9 (RE9B) heat range why doesnt anyone just run the Rx8 trailing plugs in the leading as well?
I know the price difference is significant at 4.99 and 15.99 but is there a mechanical/performance issue with doing this?

There has been a LOT more conversation on this issue over the past several years but, apparently, the archives are not kept long enough for you to have found it all.
In short, use the factory plugs unless you are boosted beyond the GReddy Turbo Kit levels. Then, feel free to use the BUR9-EQPs in the lead position and the factory trailing plugs in the trailing position. If you need to go colder than that, there are several different, very expensive, "racing" plugs for you to use.
