Not asking you to do the work for me I was just looking for a direction . My statement about trolling/flaming wasnt directed to you btw, it was towards the other two having a kindergarten spat

PPRE is a shop, not an actual type of port job.

I already gave you a huge shunt in the direction of the answers you seek

I was called a douche for no reason, don't recommend it but it's your choice

there's a reason you don't see any unbiased dynos proving anything and long term it's just more abuse of the side seals which already are a weak link

None would be my guess. And why would there be on a renny?

Who knows. Without a before and after dyno, we'll never know. It seems to not die off after 8.5k RPMs like a stock engine, but I have no sound numbers to prove it.

If you're looking for a significant power increase, this is not where you're going to get it. I need to have a compression test done to see how it's doing, but it pulls strong. It MIGHT net you a couple HP at most. It's not going to be anything dramatic.

my non-ported engine pulls well to 10k even though I know it's not really making power out there

fwiw, the best way to avoid something is not to keep bringing it up

I have bridgeported my renisis motor. No it's not a full cut, it's a secondary bridge port. Exhaust ports are slightly larger too. Makes about 50rwhp more then a standard modded motor. Makes power to 9500rpm but I start running out of fuel @ 9000rpm (standard fuel pump and injectors).
I've done 3500kms in mine, it's fine so far.

Is this a real dyno or a butt dyno figure?

It's a dick dyno where it measures whose d1ck is bigger by fatness and length. The d1ck graphs are printed out on the single print out and an inspection was done.

Lol premature ejaculation?

I've been on 3 dynos and it's made 3 different figures. 220rwhp, 210rwhp, 180rwhp. Whose dyno is right, I have nfi! But on 2 of the dynos we compared stock ported motors to mine and above 5000rpm it made on avg 45rwhp more. After 9000rpm it started to flatten and run out of fuel when tuning. But I won't be reving past 9000rpm so it's ok at the moment. It's my track car and I shift 9000rpm.

I'm still skeptical of your figures

Oh and you are not running out of fuel. Stock injectors are good for 280-300hp IIRC

You could be right, who knows. Do you believe my figures are too high?

I don't believe your figures as I have seen no proof and you are a new member.

It's easy to say " I have a 240whp Bridgeport Renny" on the internet.

Sorry but that's the way it is.

I'd love to be proved wrong though.

I have a print out of the 180 and 220rwhp. I will try scan and post it up. It sure as hell doesn't make 240rwhp lol I wish!!!!!

I've seen on forums of na rx8s making 240rwhp on unported motors. In Australia most tend to be under 200rwhp. Only a few have been over 200.

That's probably because the tuners from down under are still too focused on older rotary designs and can't probably work on a renny.

Same here in NZ.

The only person I'd trust with a tune for my engine is Brettus
